Maps doesn't take you to the location. It's in a shopping plaza nearby but they did ask if I knew where the place was when I called so they are aware of it.

I placed an order over the phone to pick-up and they said 15 min. I was craving typical fast food Chinese like orange chicken and lo mein.

Food was good and ready in enough time. Lots of food for cheap.

I've been looking for a decent Chinese take out in Fort Lauderdale and I think this one has been the best one so far.

I wanted to take a moment to post an experience I had 3 minutes ago. To be fair, for the most part, I have had a good experience for a while now; there was a period of time where I had "boycotted" them because of the quality of service (i.e., rudeness from staff). It was probably 10 months that I stopped ordering from them and used Chen's Kitchen that opened up recently. However, I decided to give China Star another chance as they do have delivery and their prices are really good for the amount of food you get. Also, the food is pretty good, especially their egg rolls. With that being said, sadly, this evening reminded me exactly why I initially boycotted them. I simply called in and the same woman who answers the phone took my order. I provided her my order and also mentioned to make sure the soup was the pint-size because the last time I ordered, it was the wrong size (as I always get). Every time I have called to place an order, they have my phone number on caller ID and tell me my address and even know what I typically order as evidenced by the lady always asking me "would you also like to upgrade your soup to the pint like last time?" Even if that were not the case, I was simply letting you know that the other woman who took my order the last time (who happened to be a younger woman) either wrote down the order incorrectly, or someone in the kitchen gave me the wrong size...either way, the wrong size was provided despite what I had paid for. I didn't ask for a free soup nor did I ask to be reimbursed, I just wanted to make sure that my order tonight came to me correctly. Rather than apologize or try to appease the customer (me), she decided to argue and say "you forgot to mention that to her, and she said you didn't request it."

Really? That's how you want to treat a customer? Do you think arguing with them is going to do you any good? People make mistakes, and your business is run and operated by...people. People are fallible and owning it and just apologizing speaks volumes. I did not want anything in return, and I still don't. I hope you can take this information and use it as a learning experience.

I can appreciate a crunchy and juicy order of honey chicken fried just right and bathed in sticky finger licking sauce making a mess in all the right ways. Some people like the Lo Mein alongside their meat but I'm a Vegetable Fried Rice kinda girl. Of course, I added an egg roll that I devoured instantaneously upon retrieval. Mixing the dick sauce with the soy and dipping in with pure glory made this fried tube of Asian glory a total hit for me. I had a bite of the Orange Chicken and liked their zesty sauce oozing with citrus flavor and glazed appeal. No one ever really finishes a Chinese meal without a fortune cookie and luckily my message was useful today. There's something so pleasingly comforting about Chinese food and I'm happy to see this place can deliver a solid meal portioned just right for a great price.

Nasty food. Rice was hard , fried chicken was nasty. The rice should at least have some type of taste and it didn't. Don't eat here , don't waste you're money unless u wanna eat no flavored food & hard rice
